tissue paper vase

Today, I made a tissue paper vase. It looks really nice at the end, and I hope that I can do it again sometime! Here is what you need:

clear glass bottle              colored tissue paper
mod podge                      construction paper
glitter                               pipe cleaners
foam brush

If the glass bottle has a label on it, peel it off. Then, take the foam brush and dip it in the mod podge. Apply some mod podge to the bottle and stick some tissue paper to it. Keep doing this until the entire bottle is covered. Then, you can brush extra mod podge over the tissue paper to make it outrageously shiny!

While the bottle dries, you can make some flowers to go in it. Cut some construction paper into the shape of a flower and glue a yellow construction paper circle in the middle. After that, you can glue some glitter onto the flower and a pipe cleaner to the back of the flower, then make as many more as you like. Put the flowers into the vase and you're done!

Other Ideas:
If you want to, you can add a little extra to your bottle, like tying a ribbon around it or gluing little construction paper flowers to it. Also, you could put real flowers in it, or just not put anything in at all. Remember, it's your choice!
