marble painting

Today, I did some marble painting with a friend. It was really fun watching the marbles be really stubborn and stay in the globs of paint! Here is what you need:

cardboard box                                            2 marbles
craft paint                                                 thick paper
glitter

Put the paper in the box. If it doesn't fit, you can trim it. Squirt at least two different colors of paint onto the paper and shake some glitter on it. Then, put the marbles in and tip the box back and forth until it is exactly how you want it. Shake some more glitter over it to give it outrageous sparkle!

Other Ideas
Marble paintings look great on cards! I did that once for my friend (the same friend I marble painted with), and she loved it! Another cool idea--try rolling the marbles only side to side instead of up, down, across, and diagonal. That will look really cool, too! But remember, it's your project!
