A while ago, I made these felt trinkets as gifts. The babushkas were for my mom(happy(late)birthday, mom!)and the dolphin pillow was for...my mom(merry(late)christmas, mom!)! Anyway, I got the idea for the babushkas from Felties by Nelly Pailloux, which has lots of outrageous little felt animal how-to's, like a squirrel, a polar bear, and a chihuahua. The dolphin pillow was all my idea, though! My mom loved both gifts, and I think that soft, home-sewed trinkets are great gifts. They can be throw pillows, ornaments, pencil toppers, and pretty much anything else you can think of! For more great craft ideas, keep checking this blog.
